Dry shampoo has long since been considered a beauty life saver. Following a heavy clubbing session and having minimal time before the working day begins, a holiday break at the campsite with your fella (and you discover the bathroom isn’t fit for rats), or you are just having a what-the-hell-I-don’t-care week. Whatever the reason, dry shampoo is on hand to save the day and your dignity.
Results, however, are not always as we’d like them. Check out these few tips to get the most out of your dry shampoo.
1.Choose The Right Dry Shampoo For Your Hair

Some key points to remember when buying your dry shampoo:
Blondes: Powdery dry shampoos can cover darker roots.
Darker Hair Types: Choose invisible or light-tinted dry shampoos to prohibit a chalky effect showing up.
2.Prevention Not Cure
Kill the grease before it happens by applying your dry shampoo post-wash. Doing this will prohibit the build-up of grease for longer.

Remember to apply your shampoo evenly, spraying from the same distance as you would use your hairdryer (approximately 8-10 inches from your head), from the parting and downwards. Massage into the scalp and ensure all of the product is absorbed.
4.Use The Right Brush
Try using a slim brush with tourmaline bristles to aid in effective blending.
5.Blend and Build

Blending in is key to getting optimal results – and NEVER use too much product. Your hair will enjoy added volume from the dry shampoo, so once used keep it down rather than tying it up and risking a grease reveal!
6.When The Grease Has Already Got You…

Should you wake up late and discover the dreaded grease has already attacked, grab your dry shampoo and spray your T-section (the top parting and along the hairline) and spraying 8-10 inches from your hair. This area is the greasiest so this is where you need to focus.
Make these few changes and your dry shampoo will be your star product! #lifegoals
