I’d thought I would share with you some really easy facial exercise techniques for keeping your beautiful face toned and youthful.
One bleak morning (not too long ago), running late and rushing to get out of the door, I was momentarily frozen as I caught sight of something shocking whilst passing the mirror in the hall. The unexpected sight I am referring to was nothing less than a double chin brazenly staring back at me. It wasn’t even a modest size. Until now, it had somehow gone unnoticed, but obviously the extra bag of sweets wasn’t a good idea, because now I looked as though the bag hadn’t quite reached my throat, but instead was hanging out with its twin, underneath my face.
By doing these few facial exercises for a few minutes each day, my chin demon has completely gone and I am no longer fearful of checking my reflection or eating sweets.
Check out these simple techniques – you will be amazed at how quickly your face tones up:
Looking upwards, lift your chin and slightly tilt your face to one side, so that you are looking over one shoulder. Next jut out your bottom jaw so that your lower teeth sit gently over your upper teeth. (Do not glance in the mirror whilst doing this). You should feel a slight stretch. Hold the pose for 20 seconds, then relax and repeat whilst looking over the opposite shoulder. Do these 5 times for each side, twice each day. Before you know it, your chin will lose its twin!
Drop your chin forward to your chest and rotate your head to the left. Hold this position for 10 seconds.
Move your head back down until your chin is to your chest, then rotate your head to the right and hold position for 10 seconds. Repeat this alternating process for a few minutes each day.
3.A Chin Slap
Using the back of your hand, gently (but not so gentle it is futile) slap your lower jaw for a minute. Repeat this twice daily.
