Hey Lovelies!
I had the opportunity to review some awesome beauty products last week. It was a tough process, but here is the narrowed down list of absolute faves, of which I am loving this week.
1.Paul Nasif Detox Pads / Complexion Perfecting Pads, $45, www.nassifmdskincare.com

So, I reviewed these pads some time ago and absolutely loved them. However, at the time I was also reviewing other anti-aging and glycolic treatments, so was not 100% certain that the results could be fully attributed to one product. Now I can. This is the only AHA/BHA treatment I have applied in the past few weeks and I am head-over-heels in love with them.
These pads are the lazy girl’s dream. They make light work of exfoliating, reducing the appearance of pores and smoothing the skin. Combining a retinol-like product, it is also a great item for those who react to retinol, but who want the anti-aging abilities.
The pads:
Contain both glycolic and salicylic acid that gently yet effectively cleanse and exfoliate.
Combine antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and antibacterial qualities
Offer anti-aging benefits
Is suitable for all ages
Vegan and cruelty-free.
Within a week of using the Detox Pads my skin looked clearer, healthier and luminous. And the best bit is the no-faff, no-fuss and no time to achieve this look fact! Yay.
2.False Lashes Extreme Black Mascara Mini MAC, £10, www.maccosmetics.com

I am totally obsessed with MAC’s False Lash Mascara Mini. It does everything I want my mascara to do, without clumping or smudging. I love how my lashes boast volume and since first testing this product it has become my daily go-to. Furthermore, it even fits in my purse. Believe that’s a win, win and – yes – another fabulous win. Thank you, MAC, you creator of all things fabulous!
3.NYX Cosmetics Professional Setting Spray Dewy, £7, www.superdrug.com

Don’t ask me why, but I get a real buzz out of reviewing setting sprays. This is a key product particularly in the heart of summer, and so having a good setting spray is vital for me. NYX provide some pretty good products and so I had fairly high expectations when I first tried their setting spray. Disappointed I wasn’t!
Having fairly dry patches coupled with the fact that I often work late into the night (causing bags), means that a setting powder is not the best fit. They usually cake, amplify dryness and any bags or creases, making them a no-no. This professional setting spray’s dewy formula is ultra-lightweight and once dry, you cannot tell you have applied it at all! It is important to allow a few minutes for the spray to dry, but once it has dried your makeup will not budge. Seriously, you can dance til 3 am and your makeup will stay gorgeous. Better yet, it’s vegan. Love, love, love this!
Have you tried any of these products and what are your thoughts? Leave me a message in he comments below. Have a stellar Wednesday all xx
