Hey Lovelies!
Well the festive season is drawing to a close – but there’s still time to get in a few more awesome classic films during the Christmas break. All of the following films are a must-watch, and although I must have seen them 100 times, they NEVER get old.
1.Heat (1995)

This film is one of my all-time faves and with a cast comprising of Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer and Al Pacino, the movie will never go out of style. One question – why, oh why did the baddies not get away (apart from Val of course)?
2.The Usual Suspects (1995)

Excuse the low-res image. Another classic, this very clever film will keep you guessing right until the end. Furthermore, you notice more clues each time you watch it.
3.War of the Worlds (2005)

Love this sci-fi film which was originally a sci-fi novel by H.G. Wells – and if aliens were to invade, this is probably the way it would go. Also, Tom Cruise never seems to age! What’s that all about? What can I say, other than this is an awesome film everyone should see?
4.Oblivion (2013)

Are we an effective team? No, we are no longer an effective team. Brilliant.
5.The Bourne Identity (2002)

Matt Damon, oh Matt, how I love you. Why don’t I have a Matt Damon (this version) in my life? After seeing is, I sadly go back to realising life is crap.
6.Deadpool (2016)

Probably the funniest film ever. Ryan Reynolds couldn’t have played this part better. I know everyone raves about Deadpool 2, but in my eyes, it is more of the same. However, the first one was so funny, it would be impossible for the second to be a flop. N.B: A good idea to wait until after the kids are asleep to watch this one.
7.Forest Gump (1994)

I used to adore Tom Hanks – he was an incredible actor. This tear-jerker gets me every time I see it.
8.The Green Mile (1999)

I hadn’t seen this film in years and then it was on the TV the other day and immediately drew me in. Warning: prepare for extreme heart-rendering tears.
9.Oceans 11 (The Original, 2001)

All of my favourite actors doing what they do best – when I watch this I am literally in heaven. Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Andy Garcia – what more could a girl ask for? Apart from to do another – with the same damn cast! Grrr.
10.Ps I Love You (2007)

This romance film is my favourite but I am left crying for days afterwards. Don’t watch this unless you have a mountain of comfort foods to the ready.
