Following a long-anticipated wait, the day arrived and this Calendar arrived on my doorstep. Not that I was happy – but seriously, at that moment I could have married the postie. Their calendar does not disappoint. Brimming with gorgeous beauty gems, the Look Fantastic’s Beauty Advent Calendar is priced at £79 and worth a total of £420! How can you go wrong?

If there is one splurge to make this year, I would highly recommend buying the calendar. If there is one look that never fails on a date, it’s the smoky eye. One reason Morphe is a hero makeup brand is their stand-out eye shadow palettes. They always get it right on the mark. For daytime usage, I turn to neutrals. Mixing them up, I can create the necessary alert, yet subtly appealing image that works. In the evening this palette’s sexy, smoky eye colour effects are just the ticket. Created by world-renowned experts and bio-tech scientists (not quite sure what the job of a biotech scientist entails, but it sounds like these people would know their stuff). Basically, the components of their magical potion come from a biotech and medical angle – and in my opinion they are sheer genius. I can only go on the effect a product has on my hair and whether it delivers good results. The Living Proof has to be one of my top 3 haircare brands. If you are looking for an awesome multi-tasker – this has to be at the top of the list. A little of this product offers a targeted treatment by lovingly conditioning and strengthening your locks. I say ‘lovingly’ as when you apply the treatment you will feel so pampered, it’s as if Living Proof literally cares for your hair! This haircare treatment styles your hair like no other. If it were a fella, it would be ‘the ONE’. Polished and smooth? I think so!

3.Caudalie Vinopure Clear Skin Purifying Toner (50ml) Retail: £18 (200ml) www.lookfantastic.com

Door #3 of Look Fantastic’s calendar reveals the go-to toner for those with combination skin. Caudalie is a must-have brand for anyone’s bathroom cabinet. Their toner feels practically weightless and combines organic essential oils that effectively remove all impurities from the skin. Moreover, salicylic acid is included to further dissolve any debris within the pores, ensuring acne and spots are kept at bay, and even aids in smoothing the skin!  For optimal results use both morning and night. This is yet another product I seriously could not be without!
