I don’t know about you but I’m so tired of getting excited about trying new concealers only to discover they just don’t stand up to the job. We want concealers to do what they promise – conceal. We want concealers that make our skin look better – not cakey, older or patchy (even when we’ve spent more than long enough blending). I quite like some Rimmel products, but I found their “Hide The Blemish” concealer to be a huge fail.

This has to be one of my all-time favourite concealers. It instantly provides superior, yet natural coverage for pretty much every skin concern. The lightweight formula blends easily and lasts as long as your foundation (unlike the useless twist pen stick concealers), it is excellent value for money. I always come back to this concealer (for good reason). #happydays.

This is another concealer that ticks all the boxes. The Naked Skin Concealer provides coverage that is easily buildable, whilst guaranteeing a full and even coverage of which glides on seamlessly. Including incredible ingredients such as Japanese green tea (to diminish the appearance of lines), Matrixyl 3000 and Litchiderm (to enhance collagen production and protect), this concealer literally transforms the look of your skin. Yay!

You didn’t think I could discuss great makeup without mentioning MAC, did you? Of course not. I hate concealers that (even when you use a setting spray) seem to either disappear completely, or stubbornly remain in unattractive vague patches on your face. Behold MAC’s Pro Longwear Concealer. The lightweight product feels amazing, is lightweight whilst simultaneously achieving excellent coverage and has serious staying power. I love this!
